This portion of the website is to inform you of the happenings at Triple L Youth Ranch. We want to make you – our partners in ministry – aware of what we are doing because you have chosen to support us. So, first we would like to re-inform you of our organization - who we are and what we do.  On the pages linked to this page you will find pictures of staff and our campuses as well as contact information.  We have also chosen to inform you of work camps we have had on our properties and of events, past events and upcoming events.  We hope you will take full advantage of our site and contact us with any questions.

Triple L Youth Ranch (LLL) was started in Colorado in the 1970’s from a gift by Charles B. “Tex” Thornton and his wife, Flora, of their Lanier Ranch in San Louis Valley. The three L’s of Triple L stand for Love, Learn and Live. These are the three words our ministry was established on and where our focus remains. From these three words they developed a brand to be used on the cattle at the ranch (a picture of this brand is to the right). The “Cross” symbolizes love, the “L” represents learning and the quarter circle symbolizes life.

Our logo of the tree (pictured at the top of this page and on the sidebar of all pages). The sapling in the middle of the larger tree represents the life of the youth and families we serve. They are small and fragile when they come to Triple L. As the mature tree protects the saplings in the forest we protect youth and families until they can develop strong roots to sustain themselves through life’s storms. Triple L’s mission is to assist youth and families in moving toward wholeness of body, mind and soul. The oval surrounding the sapling and mature tree is Christ’s love and power.

We hope we have informed you of what we are about as a ministry. We are still about serving the teens that walk through our doors, showing them the love of Christ and how to live a successful life with Him. We hope you enjoy our site - and please contact us with any questions.

Vicki Murgaw
Triple L Youth Ranch Administrator
Biography:
I came to Triple L as a Counseling intern in January 1999.  While interning I felt God’s nudge that Triple L would be my future place of employment.  May 1999 the Administrator resigned and my counseling supervisor suggested I put my application in for the position (I thought he was just being polite).  July 1999 I became Administrator of Triple L Youth Center now known as Triple L Youth Ranch.  After being in the position a few months I realized God called me to this work when I was 16 years old.  My relationship with my Lord, life experience and education sustains me in this ministry of parenting the throw away youth of society.

Randy Adams
Triple L Youth Ranch Program Director
Biography:
Randy is a 1991 graduate of Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City, OK and a 1996 graduate of the School of Theology at Anderson University.   From 1996 to 2001 he served on staff at The Church of God at West Anderson as Associate Pastor of Youth & Worship.  During the early summer of 2001 Randy began to sense a call to work specifically with youth from troubled backgrounds.  In the late fall of 2001 he began working part-time in the boys house at Triple L.    In December of 2001, he was hired full time to be Program Supervisor of the Boy’s House.   He was promoted to his new position as Program Director in February of 2004.

Our teens are talented in many areas, including music and Triple L wants to increase these God-given talents. Therefore, we are interested in starting a praise and worship band with our youth. So, we are looking for musical instruments—such as guitars, drums, pianos/keyboards, tambourines, etc. If you, or someone you know, have instruments they are not using anymore and they would like to donate them to Triple L’s praise and worship band efforts please contact Kevin Clemons at:
