Tremika is a native of Franklin, Louisiana, who currently resides in Carencro. She is a mother of two. Tremika received her Bachelor's degree from The University of New Orleans in Sociology with a minor in Psychology in 2004. She also received her Masters’ Degree in Psychology from Walden University in 2010.
Her professional career consists of therapeutic practices; individual, family, and group; personal and professional development; and youth mentorship. Tremika is the owner of Defined Resolutions. Its purpose is to consult, coach, and train businesses through the development of tailored training for their employee’s engagement needs. These classes can range from entry-level skills, such as “Workplace Etiquettes” targeting how to display “Mindful Behaviors in the Workplace” (e.g. Soft Skills, Customer Service, etc.) to more advance training, Practicing Effective Leadership through Emotional and Relational Intelligence.
She has 10 years of experience in research and evidence-based therapy practices as a MST Clinical Supervisor. MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is a service that assist caregivers of “at risk” youths to decrease and/or eliminate antisocial behaviors. Tremika has served as a Psychology Adjunct at South Louisiana Community College (SLCC) - Lafayette Campus for the last 4 years and is a part of SLCC’s Advisory Board for Professional Development. In her spare time, she volunteers as a Psychology Adjunct for The University of People, which is an online Global University that provides tuition free courses. She also serves in the children’s ministry at her church. Tremika loves to volunteer for various causes, especially youth and/or mental health; spend time with my family; and SLEEP.
