Our Mission

The Family Connection Inc. is a 501c3 non profit agency that prepares transition-age foster youth for independent adulthood through coordinated interventions designed to improve housing stability, educational attainment, workforce readiness, and long-term self-sufficiency.

A future where every young adult leaving foster care has safe housing, meaningful employment, financial stability, supportive relationships, and the confidence to achieve their goals.

How We Create Impact

We connect young people with caring adults, community resources, and opportunities that help them successfully transition into adulthood.

What success looks like

  • Every participant is matched with a dedicated case manager.

  • Youth develop a personalized success plan.

  • Participants build a network of trusted adults and community partners.

We Support

We provide ongoing case management and help youth access housing, healthcare, transportation, mental health resources, and other essential services.

What success looks like

  • Participants maintain stable housing.

  • Youth consistently access needed community services.

  • Participants successfully overcome barriers that threaten their stability.

We Prepare

We provide practical life skills, financial education, career readiness, educational support, and individualized coaching.

What success looks like

  • Participants complete life skills training.

  • Youth create personal budgets and financial goals.

  • Participants obtain employment, internships, or enroll in education or workforce training.

  • Youth gain confidence in making independent decisions.

We Empower

We encourage young adults to become confident leaders who advocate for themselves, achieve personal goals, and give back to their communities.
