Tara Haislip
GRANTS

Tara Haislip is a writer, speaker, and health advocate with a dynamic career spanning the performing arts, law, and health-tech. She brings over 18+ years of professional experience in leadership, coaching, and advocacy, rooted in a lifelong commitment to helping others reclaim agency, healing, and self-expression.

Tara began her professional journey as a modern dancer, performing in Philadelphia, New York City, and internationally. Her dance career instilled in her a deep understanding of discipline, creativity, and embodied resilience—values that continue to shape her work today.

Following her time in the arts, Tara transitioned into law, beginning at the Department of Justice in Philadelphia and later working in private practice with a focus on trust and estate administration. She later moved into the health-tech space, where she managed coaching teams and supported thousands of clients—many of them women and healthcare workers—through burnout, chronic illness, and major life transitions.

Today, she is the founder of Burn the Script, a podcast and storytelling platform that amplifies the voices of women challenging systemic norms and rebuilding their lives with integrity and intention. Tara brings to the board her cross-sector leadership, a deep belief in equity and mental wellness, and a passion for empowering communities through honest dialogue and sustainable change.
